'Catan' Fanbase

Catan has sold over 45 million copies and has been translated into more than 40 languages, building a multigenerational and international fanbase. The new projects will be produced by Darren Kyman from Asmodee, Pete Fenlon from Catan Studio, and Guido and Benjamin Teuber from the Teuber family, with Roy Lee from Vertigo Entertainment also attached as producer.

The Asmodee CEO emphasised the significance of bringing the game to a wider audience, noting that board gaming has become an integral part of pop culture and entertainment worldwide.
